Penthe is arguably one of the most fierce warriors of the Adem at the time Kvothe visits Haert. In battle she defeats Shehyn, the leader of Latantha school. She is one of the few Adem that are openly kind to Kvothe, and becomes one of his lover once he is accepted to the school.
