Mandrag is a Master at the University, serving as Master Alchemist.

Appearance

Mandrag is "clean-shaven and smooth-faced".[1] His hands are stained and bony.[1]

In the Chronicle

Sovoy has a long-running dispute with Mandrag.[2][3] Amongst the Masters, he generally votes against Kvothe's favour.[4][5]

He uses the plum bob as an example of misuse of alchemy.[6] His giller Anisat teaches Kvothe on his return to the University.[7]
