Mercenary Reds

Bloodred-dyed leather armor, or Mercenary Reds, is the traditional garb of Adem Cethan. It is the most distinguishing physical trait of the Adem working outside of Ademre. The dye is likely made from the wild papavler flower native to Ademre.[1]
The bloodred color is chosen so that their enemies will not see them bleed.[2]
