Kvothe here played the simplest song in the world and made it look like he was spinning gold out of flax
– Marie
Bell-Wether is a simple melody that can be played by a variety of methods. According to Kvothe, anyone with a bucket could carry the tune.[1]
In the Chronicle
During one of Kvothe's visits to the Eolian, he plays a joke on the audience by playing Bell-Wether as if it was one of the most difficult songs before playing Tintatatornin, a notoriously difficult song, as if it was a simple song that anyone could perform.
