Deborah is a figure in Trapis's story about Menda.
Perial prayed for Deborah the night before Tehlu came to her in a dream. Her husband Losel was physically abusive to her, but Tehlu initially refused to help her because she was promiscuous before Perial convinced him to consider that humanity could be redeemable and that wrong actions could result from people's circumstances.[1]
