Tempi is an Adem mercenary that encounters Kvothe on a commission (fools errand) from Maer alveron. While Tempi initially seems like an idiot that doesn’t adeptly speak the language of the Commonwealth, there are hidden depths to the Adem’s awkward speech and mannerisms.
