Haert is the Ademre border town that Kvothe visits as a result of being haphazardly field trained in the Lethani by Tempi. Haert is described as not looking like a town at all. There is no main street, and the architecture is uneven and sensibly blends into the landscape to avoid the strong winds and avoid the attention of outsiders.
The elder of the town is Shehyn. She is the de facto leader and teacher of The Path of The Sword Tree.
