Tempi is an Adem mercenary that encounters Kvothe on a commission (fools errand) from Maer Alveron. While Tempi initially seems like an idiot that doesn’t adeptly speak the language of the Commonwealth, there are hidden depths to the Adem’s awkward-seeming speech and mannerisms.
