The Lay of Felurian was a song written by Kvothe for Felurian during his time with her.
The song is cut short when Felurian becomes angered at Kvothe's choice of words, notably nice and suffice. Kvothe argues that his experience with her had been nice but is met with more anger. He tells Felurian that he doesn't know how he should feel about it since he had never had sex before and had nothing to compare the experience with.
