Junpui is a city on an island near the Small Kingdoms.

History and culture

In the time the Order Amyr were active, they put down a peasant revolt in Junpui.[1]

The punishment for forgery in Junpui is decrepication, being thrown into a fire.[2]

In the Chronicle

When Kvothe was shipwrecked on his journey to Severen, he begged on the streets of Junpui, where he recited poetry in order to survive. He had to tear up the cloak he'd been given by Fela to make bandages during his time in the city.[3]
